Neema Rwebangira holds a BSocSc (Hons) in Social Anthropology and Law from the University of Cape Town (2008), and an MA in Gender Studies from the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Dar es Salaam (2013). She has five years of work experience in research and media. Her areas of interest are in communication, gender and economic empowerment, rural development and sustainable livelihoods. Prior to joining ANSAF, Neema worked as the Gender and Governance Program Officer at Rights Action Watch.

 Neema’s role at ANSAF is to support the Communication and Advocacy Department in M&E and media engagement activities. She believes in the power of information in transforming the lives of smallholder farmers, as they make in-formed decisions and are empowered to raise their voices about the issues that affect them.
