Representatives of NSAs who met in Entebbe for two days, from the 27th-28th of May 2017 to deliberate on the theme: “Sustaining the Impact of NSAs in CAADP Mutual Accountability Processes” came up with a communique on various demands. The meeting was convened with the main objective of bringing NSAs together to reflect on the theme of the 13th CAADP PP Meeting, “Strengthening
Mutual Accountability to Achieve CAADP/Malabo Goals and Targets”. Noting that the CAADP PP presents a unique opportunity for all CAADP stakeholders to come together and exchange perspectives on how to strengthen their mutual commitments towards achieving the CAADP-Malabo targets. NSAs, being one of the unique category of actors within the mix of CAADP Partners will continue to demonstrate our value-add and constructive proposals towards achieving the goals and targets of the Malabo Declaration. In that regard, the
CAADP NSAs Coalition (CNC) convened NSAs from across the African continent to increase their awareness on the concept of CAADP Mutual Accountability, share experiences, develop a common vision and renew their commitments to support the efforts aimed at achieving the CAADP-Malabo targets.
